Sigma Germany shared a review of 150-600mm 5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary by d-pixx and it received highest value – Excellent plus.
According to Sigma Germany, the article says;
“The lens is solid manufactured, the OS is effective at all directions and the HSM worked very good at EOS 5D Mark III. At EOS 7D Mark II the AF worked more precise by using LiveView. The Lens delivers a likable bokeh.
The optical and resolution performance at EOS 5D Mark III was outstanding from 150-500mm. At 600mm it is still very good when closing the aperture one step. The performance degradation from center to the corners is low. The vignetting is visible at 400mm and gets better at F8. Chromatic aberrations are almost invisible and also the distortion is no problem. Only in susceptible subjects from 400mm a less pulvinated distortion is visible.
The lens was tested also with a EOS 7D Mark II. As expected the resolution is a little bit lower. In return vignetting is better. Color frings and distortions are insignificant.
Altogether the lens is an outstanding lens and the optical performance reaches nearly that of the Sports lens.”
