The new Canon WFT-R10B is a battery grip with an integrated wireless file transmitter for the new Canon EOS R5 camera and, with its double controls for taking pictures in portrait format, offers easier handling of the cameras. The battery grip takes two batteries ( LP-E6NH / LP-E6N / LP-E6 ) and offers long recording times. The BG-R10 battery handle enables the batteries to be charged via USB-C. The WFT-R10B also offers WLAN data transmission and improved network connectivity: 2x2 MIMO antennas, a Gigabit LAN interface and support for SFTP.
Add this powerful Wi-Fi booster to the EOS R5 to enhance its network capabilities – ideal for professionals shooting photojournalism, sports and events when fast, reliable image delivery is key. The WFT-R10B features 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz support and 2x2 MIMO technology for fast wireless communication that’s less prone to interference in digitally congested environments, such as sports stadiums and theme parks. Support for SFTP lets photographers deliver images securely directly to a client’s server – ideal for news gathering and sports photography. Gigabit Ethernet lets photographers at large sports events, for example, connect to wired networks. The WFT-R10B makes it easy to set up network connections, allowing settings – including LAN and FTP details – to be configured in-camera or on a desktop computer then transferred to the EOS R5. The WFT-R10B also provides an ergonomic grip and duplicate controls for more comfortable upright shooting.
