Therefore, the head is mountable on a bracket, cage, or video rig via a hot or cold shoe mount; to lock it in, you can just turn the thumb-locking wheel down to hold it in place. The 2.8" tall ball head has the capacity of holding photo or video accessories weighing up to 5.5 lb. The single-action locking knob controls all the head's movements at the same time.
