The quick release plate features a 1/4"-20 screw for you to attach a light, microphone, monitor, battery plate, or other accessory. Or you can mount a V-lock accessory directly onto the V-lock mount, such as a V-mount battery, without the quick release plate. Three 1/4"-20 screws and an Allen wrench are included to assemble the mount.
