The CINE 4 x 5.65" White Diffusion 1/4 Filter from SmallRig helps to reduce the value of the highlights while slightly lowering the overall contrast. This filter is especially useful for smoothing out and softening facial wrinkles and other blemishes to resemble a soft, old-fashioned film look. The optical glass filter is designed for use with 4 x 5.65" matte boxes and features 22 layers of nano anti-glare and anti-smudge coatings.
While designed for cinematic use, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike a traditional diffusion or soft focus filter, White Diffusion filters provide bright, natural color and edge-to-edge diffusion on white highlights. The 1/4 density provides a 1/4 stop contrast and highlight reduction.
