ULANZI GP-4 MAGNETIC QUICK-RELEASE BASE FOR GOPRO

The Ulanzi Magnetic Quick Release System for Action Cams is designed to let you easily move your action camera between two support accessories (sold separately). One of the support accessories must have a 1/4"-20 mounting screw, such as a mini tripod. The other has to provide a 3-prong action cam mount, such as a handgrip for action cams. Switching your camera between these two supports will be as simple as a couple of twists.

This quick release system includes two main components, and a third one that switches between these two. The first is a 2-prong base, featuring a 2-prong mount on the bottom. Via the 2-prong mount, it's designed to attach to a compatible handgrip or other support as mentioned above. The second is a 1/4"-20 base, offering a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the bottom. This one can be attached to mini tripods and various other supports that have a matching 1/4"-20 screw. Both of these components have a receptacle on top that supports a twist shoe. Inside the receptacle is a strong magnet. The third piece is a twist-shoe mount. This third component has a 3-prong on top for holding your camera, and the bottom has the matching twist shoe for securing to/switching between the other two components, and the twist shoe also has a magnet. Simply place the twist-shoe mount (with your camera mounted on the top of it) into the twist-receptacle on either the 2-prong base or 1/4"-20 base, and twist-lock it with a half-turn. Once you place the twist-shoe mount next to the receptacle, it magnetically attaches to the receptacle, and you then just have to twist-lock it in. A screw is also included for securing your camera to the 3-prong mount of the third piece.

With this compact accessory installed, you can easily move your camera between two supports.
